CANCELLATION POLICY
CANCELLATION POLICY
BECAUSE WE ARE WORKING DURING A PANDEMIC, WE HAVE LISTED THE POLICY FOR EACH WORKSHOP OR EVENT BELOW.

TODDLER/PRESCHOOL PLAYGROUPS
If you need to miss a playgroup due to schedule or illness please consider gifting your spot to a friend or family member. At this time, we are unable to offer class credit, or refund missed groups.

If the group is a COVID-19 related cancellation, our playgroup will be moved to a virtual platform where the instructor reads an art book and leads the class through a fun process art-based activity using art supplies commonly found at home.

ELEMENTARY CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
Workshops: No refunds/make-ups for missed classes

SUMMER OR SPECIAL DAY Camps: If you decide to cancel at least two weeks prior to the start of camp, we will issue a refund minus a $50 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made within 14 days of the camp start date are NONREFUNDABLE.
If the WORKSHOP OR CAMP is canceled due to a larger COVID-19 related event, our course will be moved to a virtual platform.

REFUNDS, SWAPS, & CREDITS
As of August, we no longer offer credits, refunds, or swaps for missed classes.

ADULT WORKSHOPS
No refunds/make-ups for missed classes

OPEN STUDIO
No refunds/make-ups for missed classes

WHAT IS YOUR SICK CHILD POLICY?
A child must be fever-free for a full 24 hrs., diarrhea & vomit free for at least 72 hrs., and wait a full 14 days (after the cessation of symptoms) if there’s been a diagnosis of the flu or COVID-19, as the flu & COVID can still be transmitted 5-14 days after symptoms subside.

If you or your child has sneezes, an excessive cough, or a constantly running nose – please keep them home to rest and recover.

Children must remain home if they exhibit any of the following: hand foot mouth, molluscum, herpes simplex outbreak, ringworm, lice, and any other transmittable rash/condition.

WHAT IS YOUR INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY?
For all weekday classes:
We will follow Grand Island Central School Corporation’s lead. If GCIS closes or delays, we will cancel classes. You will be notified via email.

For weekend classes:
We will make the call to cancel classes at least one hour before class. You will be notified via email.

Thank you for your understanding and all your support of our little studio.
Orange Poppy Art Studio
Safety during the Pandemic is our #1 priority!

We are doing the following at a lot more:
A fun (and super safe) environment to meet new friends & interact with peers.
-
Something to look forward to! (oh man, don’t we all need that right now?!)
-
We promise your child will laugh, create, & be excited to return.
We will start by outlining our precautions and safety measures for our in-studio courses. We want to be thorough in outlining exactly what you can expect from our team. This will allow you to make a well-informed decision regarding your family.
Space: There are a maximum of 10 students artists enrolled in each of our classes. In many cases, there are less than 10. Because of this small ratio, our studio is perfectly spaced so that we can maintain social distancing guidelines with ease.

Preschool playgroups will be limited to 4 artists. Each artist may have ONE caretaker join them. We will do our best to keep them distanced.

Supplies: Each artist will be supplied with their own supply kit (brushes, glue, scissors, etc.) upon entering the studio. Supply kits will be sanitized by the instructor at the end of each class.

Cleaning and sanitation: Artists will have individual hand sanitizer spray bottles to use when needed during all classes at Orange Poppy Art Studio.
At the end of each class, the instructor will clean and sanitize every surface, table, chair, and supply used in the studio. We are happy to provide information on our cleaning practices upon request.

*Should guidelines from our state & local government change rapidly all playgroups & clubs will transfer to virtual clubs.
